Video+ Motion

A curated compilation of video and stop-motion projects. This reel showcases a mix of dynamic visual storytelling, on-set art direction, and playful, culture-forward motion design created to elevate brand narrative and capture audience engagement.

I’d Do Anything for You

Every pet parent faces a chaotic mix of needs, from grooming and training to veterinary care. The goal was to position PetSmart Services as the ultimate, frictionless solution by bringing every essential service under one roof.

We wanted to flip the script on typical, clinical utility ads and show how fun problem-solving can be. The visual system leverages high-energy, vibrant color palettes paired with a dynamic, loving soundtrack to mirror the unconditional bond we share with our pets. By blending premium lifestyle aesthetics with relatable, culture-forward narratives, the campaign serves as a colorful reminder that our pets aren’t just animals; they’re family, and we really would do anything for them.

Halloween Paid Media Reels: This series of short-form paid videos was built to grab attention on a fast scroll. For this Halloween campaign, the goal was to keep it entirely pet-forward, using bright colors and a mix of live video, custom illustration, and intentional motion design. The added movement and playful graphic overlays inject a high-energy feel that stops the feed and connects viewers instantly to the product.

Wiggles + Wags

W + W social ad campaign, I art directed the high-energy, thumb-stopping video content from storyboard to Final Cut. The intent was to capture, playful, vibrant visuals, partnering with post-production on punchy motion graphics and fast-paced edits tailored for TikTok and Instagram reels.

Simply Nourish

Educating pet parents on the benefits of a fresh, frozen diet can easily become dry and overly technical. The goal was to find an engaging, visually appetizing way to break down the clean, premium ingredients inside Simply Nourish food.

We utilized stop-motion animation to bring a sense of tactile craft and playful energy to the storytelling, keeping viewers entertained while effortlessly educating them. To visually reinforce the "clean and simple" brand promise, I concepted a bright, modern environment using white marble as our base texture, giving the set an elevated, cool feel that subtly communicates preservation and freshness. The color palette was deliberately balanced with crisp blue tonalities to represent a fresh, frozen ecosystem, contrasted against rich, warm tones on the food itself to ensure it looked incredibly premium and appetizing.

Holiday Advent Calendar

To build high-energy anticipation around a holiday best-seller, transforming the daily countdown ritual into a visually engaging story that showcases the premium, new treats inside.

Stop-motion animation was chosen to capture a sense of "paused fluidity," allowing us to mimic the tactile, day-by-day opening of the calendar in a magical, fluid sequence. To ensure the campaign remained sophisticated and completely aligned with the core brand identity, I designed the visual environment using a restrained, neutral color palette. This intentional minimalism kept the focus entirely on the product interaction, letting the playful motion tell the story without overwhelming the classic aesthetic of the brand.

Ask a Vet Series

Bringing home a new pet can be overwhelming for new or prospective pet parents. The objective was to create an authoritative yet highly approachable video guide that educates owners on building responsible, healthy environments for their new family members.

To build immediate trust, we partnered with Dr. Hodges from National Geographic’s hit series Critter Fixers: Country Vets. We stepped away from sterile, over-produced educational content and instead filmed directly inside a real PetSmart veterinary clinic. This allowed for authentic, unscripted moments between Dr. Hodges and real pets. Visually, I directed the production with bright, clean, and simple lighting to establish an immediate sense of safety, familiarity, and clinical excellence.
